Data we process

• Identity and contact: first name, last name, email, phone and country of residence.
• Booking data: apartment, dates, number of guests, amounts and payment status.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe or PayPal. We only receive payment references, never your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address (security and abuse prevention) and, in your browser, language preference, the source of your visit (UTM parameters, landing page and referrer) and Meta Pixel cookie identifiers.

Purposes

• Necessary: managing and charging your booking, sending your confirmation and arrival information, handling your requests and meeting legal obligations and resort rules.
• Additional: measuring which channels our bookings come from (e.g. Google or Instagram) and how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform (Meta Pixel). You can object by contacting us or by blocking cookies in your browser; it does not affect your booking.

Transfers and processors

• Smoobu GmbH (booking management and guest communication software).
• Stripe and PayPal (payment processing).
• Meta Platforms (measuring ads on Facebook and Instagram with the Meta Pixel).
• Web hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Peninsula resort management, where needed for your access and security.
• Competent authorities, where required by law.
• Some of these providers process data outside Mexico under equivalent security measures.

Your rights and withdrawal of consent

You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data and withdraw your consent by messaging us on WhatsApp +52 33 1064 2131 or replying to any email about your booking. We reply within 20 business days at the latest.

Retention

We keep booking data while needed for these purposes and for the periods required by tax and commercial law (generally 5 years).

Cookies and local storage

We use technical storage in your browser (language, booking form data while it is open and the source of your visit) and the Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms. The Meta Pixel uses cookies to measure which visits and bookings come from our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives technical data (pages visited, IP address, browser) and, when you book, the apartment, number of nights, amount and booking number. We do not send your payment details to Meta.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings and manage the ads you see in the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.
